The 10th edition of Guwahati Food Awards is here and we are looking ahead to a bigger and more engaging event this time around.

Given the success of the last nine editions, we at Guwahati Food Awards believe that the F&B industry is surely evolving in the city and hence would like to encourage even higher standards for the awards this year. We would also like to applaud the exceptional efforts made by the industry members who are becoming examples and setting benchmarks through innovation. This one-of-a-kind award provides a unique platform to both established players and emerging ones to make their presence felt within the industry and nominate themselves within the different categories in the sector.

Idea

The past few years have seen the advent of numerous National and International restaurant brands and cuisines and an equal number of local ventures serving regional and sub-regional cuisines.
The springing up of cafes, lounge-bars, boutique bakeries, fast food chains, etc. in various parts of the city and an increased interest amongst the citizens to eat-out have brought in a food revolution which is set to become bigger and better in the coming years.
To acknowledge the growth of the sector, Guwahati Food Awards, conceptualized by GPlus, were initiated to recognize superior services and achievements in the city’s F&B segment. It aims to encourage even higher standards and applaud the exceptional efforts made by the industry members who are setting examples

Round 1 : Screening

The selection and judgement would be a transparent process involving opportunities for the nominees,

the consumers and the jury to participate equally and opine of their favourite place. The finalists would be arrived on compilation of the total scores arrived through the following phases.
